La divulgadora científica Isabel Vega está superando la muerte de su hija Lucy. Un día contacta con ella una mujer llamada Daya. Daya trabaja para ADNTRO, una biotecnológica que está triunfando a escala mundial con un revolucionario método de diagnóstico del COVID, y le propone un descabellado proyecto que Isabel, todavía frágil, termina por aceptar.
Pero, poco a poco, las perversas ramificaciones del proyecto de ADNTRO son desveladas. THE FIFTH ORIGIN
In the year 2020 some underwater fishermen hear a sound under the waters of Cala Tuent on the island of Mallorca. At the same time the strandings of cetaceans, whales and dolphins on the coasts of the archipelago increase exponentially and, in some military maneuvers of NATO in the Mediterranean, the anti-submarine radars stop working.
Toni Figueroa is an agent of the National Intelligence Center stationed on the island to investigate the origin of this mysterious Echo. He soon begins a sentimental relationship with Mamen Torres, who is squeezing her youth between alcohol and drug excesses.
On the other hand Lucius Umbert is a writer of paranormal themes who returns to the island where he lived as a child and who is attracting a large number of UFO fans.
